The Palm Las Vegas

The Palm first opened its doors in New York City in 1926, becoming a favorite hangout for artists, entertainers and cartoonists, with caricatures of famous patrons adorning the walls. Expanding across the country, The Palm Las Vegas opened in 1994, embracing its famed old-school feel by posting cartoons of Vegas performers, movers and shakers smiling down at diners. But those VIPs aren’t only on the walls. Many dine here, which is probably why Crystina Nguyen (This Mama’s House) recommends the place for people-watching.

The restaurant got a complete makeover in 2016, but still managed to retain the vibe and cuisine that its patrons have come to expect. The “patio,” which juts out into the enclosed Forum Shops at Caesars, is a favorite place to see and be seen. And the menu features classic steaks, chops, lobster and sides to pair with signature cocktails.

Like the Rat Pack, The Palm will always be cool, thanks to good dishes and great drinks, surrounded by history and a chance to mingle with celebrities. And be forewarned: In keeping with the throwback style, proper attire is required to drink or dine here.
